MONDKOPF & OBERLAND
Live at Providenza festival, Corsica
Previously unreleased
Included as a special digital bonus track inside our 2018 bundle, this rough and blissful live piece was improvised by night last Summer, in an outdoor amphitheater lost in Corsican nature.
The Providenza festival takes place in a very particular place: above the village of Pieve di Tenda, in the Nebbio region close to Bastia. On the side of a mountain, a vast abandoned agricultural land is now slowly being put back into production. It seems to be floating in the sky. Facing the sea.
This is where Frédéric D. Oberland (Oiseaux-Tempête, Le Réveil des Tropiques, FOUDRE!...) and Paul Régimbeau (Mondkopf, Autrenoir, FOUDRE!...) teamed up live for the first time as a duo, invited by Antoine Viviani and Julien Colardelle to perform alongside other artists like Aldilei, Nicolas Becker, Fanny Béguély, Romain Berthau, Jasmin Blasco, Mario & Samantha Caldato, Julia Canarelli, Cosme Castro & Jeanne Frenkel, Francesca Desideri, Lola Gonzales, Emmanuel Gras, Ghjuvan Francescu Mattei, Bjarni Friman, Sian O Gorman, Adalheidur Halldorsdottir, Ange Leccia, Laure Limongi, Nuno Da Luz, Vincent Moon, Olivier Nattes, Camille Florent, Philippa Neels, Cosmic Neman, Les Pilotes de l’aéroport de Notre Dame des Landes, Manuel Maria Perrone, Ben Rivers, Stefania Rossetti, Lou Rotzinger & Margaux Shore, Ben Russel, Diana Saliceti, Lei Sato, Stefan Smith, Vladimir Untel, Kristin Anna Valtysdottir, Ana Vaz, Yuyan Wang... Thanks to all of them.
